Minors found working in AL
Shocking news as four minors, some as young as 16, were discovered working overnight shifts at an Alabama poultry plant run by Mar-Jac Poultry. This is the same company previously implicated in the tragic death of a 16-year-old worker in Mississippi. Despite the company’s denial of knowingly hiring underage workers and their claim that the jobs performed are not federally prohibited, the U.S. Department of Labor has launched an investigation and is seeking a temporary restraining order against Mar-Jac Poultry.
